Breakfast – Energiser for the Day

Ah, Breakfast ! – the glorious first meal of the day. The circadian rhythm , your body’s internal clock , insists on a schedule. Moreover, a king – sized breakfast which is typically high in calories, sugars and fats can overwhelm your digestive system and lead to sluggishness and will eventually make your day look very lazy.

Traditional options such as poha, idli sambhar, boiled eggs and omelettes or sandwich are also viable choices for a satisfying and wholesome breakfast, while someone who have busy mornings or don’t have a habit of eating breakfast can grab a fruit or have handful of nuts. Alternatively, sugary foods such as hot chocolate or croissants can cause instant sugar spike and should be avoided to refrain from reducing energy throughout the day.

Having a healthy breakfast maybe, consisting a bowl of seasonal fruits or a protein rich meal such as a bowl of sprouts salad will not only make you feel satiated but also help you provide energy to tackle the day.
